01Billet stock
Every profile begins as a billet
Aluminium billet is cut to charge length and staged at the head of the line. Our presses take billet from five inches in diameter upward.

02Billet heating
Brought up to press temperature
Billet is heated in line with the press until it will flow through a die — hot enough to extrude, and no hotter than the section can carry.
03Extrusion
Sixteen extrusion lines under one company
The heated billet is pressed through a hardened steel die. Sixteen extrusion lines run across six factories, with tooling cut in house at up to 500 dies a month.

04Quench and pull
Quenched on the run
The profile is cooled as it leaves the die and drawn down the run-out table under tension, which holds it straight while the section is still soft.

05Stretch and saw
Pulled straight, cut to length
Cooled lengths are stretched to relieve the section and bring it back into tolerance, then sawn to the cut length the order calls for — 6 m as standard.

06Ageing
Aged to temper
Cut lengths are aged in circulating-air ovens to bring the alloy to its specified temper — 6063 T5, 6063 T6 or 6061 — before finishing.

Anodising, powder coating, wood grain
Four powder-coating lines on German and Taiwanese equipment, plus electrophoretic finishing and wood-grain transfer, then machining, bundling and packing.

Built one factory at a time
Truong Thanh was founded in 2016 with a single plant in the Quat Dong industrial cluster outside Hanoi. It now runs six factories, employs more than 350 people, and supplies over 350 dealers across all 63 provinces of Vietnam under the GOLD DOOR brand.

2016
Company founded
Established in Hanoi and construction started on the first plant in the Quat Dong industrial cluster.
2017
Factory 1 in production
5,000 m² with four extrusion lines.
2018
Factory 2 in production
5,000 m², adding the first automatic coating line.
2019 – 2020
Factory 3 in production
8,000 m² with three further extrusion lines.
2021
Factory 4, and south
5,000 m² with three extrusion lines, and the move into the southern market begins.
2022
Long An and Ha Nam
A 32,500 m² plant at Nam Thuan with six extrusion lines and a coating line, a high-tech silicon plant in Ha Nam, and a Hanoi office.
