Finishing is the last thing that happens to a profile and the first thing anyone sees, which is why it is offered here as a range in its own right rather than as a footnote to the others. Extrusions from the company's own presses and, by arrangement, sections supplied to us both go through the same lines.
The coating plant is four powder lines and three electrophoretic lines, imported from Germany and Taiwan. Colour is matched to the company's own chart or to a reference supplied with the order, and film thickness is checked on the line rather than on the finished bundle.
Machining is what makes the difference between a length of aluminium and a part: cutting to length, drilling, punching, notching and milling to drawing, then assembly where a customer wants the frame rather than the sections.
Processes
Any of these can be quoted on its own or as part of a profile order.
| System | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Powder coating | Four automatic lines. Polyester powder to the standard chart or to a supplied colour reference, with film thickness checked in process. |
| Wood grain | Transfer process over a powder base, so the substrate colour is specified along with the grain. |
| Electrophoretic coating | Three lines, for the even film and corrosion behaviour an ED coat gives over a bright substrate. |
| Anodising | Anodised finishes where the specification calls for an oxide layer rather than an applied film. |
| CNC machining | Cutting to length, drilling, punching, notching and milling to the customer's drawing. |
| Fabrication & assembly | Frames and leaves assembled from finished sections, so what ships is the part and not the kit. |
| Packing | Bundled to a stated bar count, with the packing list matched to the container plan. |
Why it is worth doing here
01
One supplier
Extrusion, finish and machining under one order means one party is answerable for the colour and the dimension.
02
Colour consistency
A project's sections coated in the same runs rather than in batches months apart.
03
Less freight
Parts leave finished and machined, so nothing crosses a border twice to be processed.
04
Less handling damage
Coating and packing in the same plant is the shortest path between the line and the bundle.
Finishing only?
Sections supplied to us can be coated and machined by arrangement. Send the quantity, the colour reference and the machining drawing.
